Synergy Services Co., Ltd.

Established in 2006 and based in Bangkok, Synergy Services provides industrial cooling tower services across Thailand and the region. The company operates an ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system and is a member of the Cooling Technology Institute (CTI).

Member. Performance testing follows CTI procedures, and we supply CTI-certified products where a project calls for them.

Milestones since 2006

2006 — Established Synergy Services and began representing Terra Cooling Industries products.
2009 — Opened a service workshop in Rayong.
2018 — Expanded on company-owned land, established a gearbox overhaul station in Rayong, and began representing Brentwood Industries.
2019 — Completed an overseas project at Hongsa Power Plant in Lao PDR.
2023 — Began representing Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) and Axial Fans Int srl (AFI).
2026 — Expanded the workshop network with a gearbox overhaul station in Khon Kaen.

Two dedicated overhaul workshops

The Rayong and Khon Kaen sites are purpose-built overhaul workshops, not just service points. Rayong added a dedicated gearbox overhaul station in 2018; Khon Kaen opened with the same capability in 2026, extending overhaul coverage into Northeast Thailand. Three internal teams carry out the work each site produces — a Shutdown team, a Long Term team, and an Overhaul team — each with its own senior engineers, service engineers, supervisors, and foremen.

Each manufacturing partner supplies a distinct product line that Synergy Services installs and services in Thailand.

Terra Cooling Industries — film fill and grid packs, including the TCI-C-19CC, TCI-C-VOF20, TCI-C-BOF21, TCI-MF20, TCI-C-7500VF, TCI-7500G-610/19, TCI-X-SHW1000-HYB, and TCI-915-Grid ranges.
Brentwood Industries — ShockWave, ThermaCross, OF21MA, and CF1900MA film fill in vertical, vertical-offset, and cross-corrugated configurations, plus anti-microbial fill (CF150MAx and CF80MAx) and the TAP 160 anti-microbial drift eliminator in cellular and blade types.
Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) — Series 3000 cooling towers, including the Endura Drive direct-drive option described under service innovations below.
Axial Fans Int srl (AFI) — five fan series by blade diameter: SML (2.6–10 ft), STD (7–16 ft), HD (10–23 ft) and D (22–40 ft), plus the low-noise REM series (6–16 ft).
D’Hondt Thermal Solutions — air-cooled heat exchanger spares and services: bundle replacements, finned tubes, plugs and belts, plus upgrade, energy-saving, maintenance-package, dry-cleaning and cooling-mist programmes.
CTP — the Neutrol®, Neutramex®, and Decamex® cleaning chemical lines described under service innovations below.

Service innovations

Beyond the four core service lines, we install and support three manufacturer programmes.

BAC’s Endura Drive is a direct-drive system for Series 3000 cooling towers that removes the gearbox and belt from the powertrain entirely. With no gear or belt to inspect, test, or replace, it lowers maintenance cost, and more than 500 units are installed worldwide.

CTP’s chemical cleaning lines address three parts of a plant: Neutrol® for offline cleaning of heater and boiler tubes during shutdowns, Neutramex® for online fireside cleaning of heaters and boilers on convection and radiant banks, and Decamex® for on-line or off-line air-side cleaning of air coolers and condensers without scaffolding or plenum entry. All three are biodegradable and non-hazardous. CTP also supplies mobile wastewater treatment — temporary, modular, fully automated systems for commissioning, shutdown, maintenance, and emergency projects that keep a plant in environmental compliance without extending downtime.

Long-term power and petrochemical contracts at scale

EGAT, 2018–2019 — 17 power plants and 218 cooling tower cells under a two-year contract.
EGAT, 2022–2023 — 21 power plants and 220 cooling tower cells under a two-year contract.
Gulf Energy Development PCL, 2020–2021 — cooling tower work across five power plants.
Gulf Energy Development PCL, 2022–2028 — cooling tower work across 17 power plants.

The stated scope for EGAT and Gulf covers mechanical checks and adjustment, gearbox overhaul, structure and nozzle inspection, and cleaning of fill and drift eliminators.

Synergy Services also holds a price-list contract with the SCGC group, 2022–2025, covering seven plants: TPC, MOC, ROC, TPE, RIL, TPR, and TMMA.

Air-cooled equipment maintenance at scale

Thai Oil PCL, November 2023–November 2026 — 600 Fin Fan units, with maintenance at three-month, six-month, and annual intervals.
Trans Thai-Malaysia (Thailand), 2017–2020 — preventive and corrective maintenance for 60 air-cooled heat exchanger (ACHE) fans.
Trans Thai-Malaysia (Thailand), 2025–2026 — a one-year preventive-maintenance contract covering 60 ACHE fans.
2025–2026 contract — preventive and corrective maintenance covering 814 units over two years.

New towers and reconstruction

TRR Group — 36 new FRP counterflow cooling tower cells: 16 at Wang Muang, 10 at Bung Samphan, and 10 at Sabot.
Thai Asia Pacific Brewery Co., Ltd. — one evaporative condenser removed and replaced.

Selected replacement projects

Hongsa Power Plant, Laos — a 1,878 MW coal-fired power station using three natural-draft cooling tower units; four tube-settler tanks were replaced.
GGC KTIS Bioindustrial, Thailand — two tube-settler tanks were replaced.
